An easy way to create grids of text boxes or picture boxes, Grid Master can generate a grid to fit in a specified area, or will generate a grid of boxes of a specified size. The Group Picture XTensions module provides the power to create special QuarkXPress library elements which behave just like pictures -- they can be archived, stored to a database, and imported. The difference is that when a Group Picture is imported the result is the original, native QuarkXPress elements (boxes, lines, and so on) are perfectly positioned and ready to be edited and styled normally.

To use Group Picture, start by selecting the group of QuarkXPress elements. Select Group Picture Save... from under the Utilities menu, enter a name for the picture, and click Save. A new Group Picture file will be created. To import a Group Picture, click on a picture box and select Get Picture... from under the QuarkXPress File menu. Like magic, the original QuarkXPress elements will appear on the page, using the picture box for positioning.
